Biographical Information

Kansas State University: B. S., B. S., M. S. Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Delta Chi, Gamma Sigma Delta. Agricultural Alumni Association Distinguished Alumnus Award, Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications Advisory Council, Department of Communications Advisory Council.

Departmental editor Successful Farming. Creative Contact Executive on country’s largest agricultural advertising account. Publisher of four magazines.

As free-lance writer-photographer covering U. S. A. and Canada, editorial photographs have appeared in 207 different publications, with covers on 48 different publications, in 11 countries. Have had as many as six covers a year on Farm Journal, plus Successful Farming covers. Winner of regional and national N. A. M. A. awards for advertising photography including national best color spread. A. A. E. A. outstanding agricultural photograph of the year. Photographs have been used in 13 non-fiction books, seven exclusively with as many as 143 in the book. New York City Art Directors Club Certificate of Merit. For 13 years did 90 percent of John Deere’s testimonial work U. S. A. and Canada.

Instrument rated Private Pilot with own aircraft and more than 2,950 hours logged. Logged more than 15,000 miles running, including four marathons.
